There is plenty to do in Torquay......

Welcome to the surf capital of Australia! If its beaches, surfboards, surf lessons and surfwear you are after, you have come to the right place!

Visit Torquay Surf Beach or Jan Juc Beach (or the famous Bird Rock, Steps.....not to mention a little beach called Bells) for some great waves.

There are plenty of surf lessons on offer if you want to give surfing a try.

For families, Cosy Corner, Torquay Front Beach and Fishermans Beach offer sheltered swimming and plenty of room for the kids to run around.

Take a walk or drive around Point Danger for fantasic views, as well as time to reflect at the new and old war memorials.

The Surf Coast Walk extends from Torquay all the way to Bells Beach, passing some great lookouts along the way. For the really keen you can go all the way to Anglesea......

Fishermans Beach has a popular boat ramp - please check conditions before launching. If in doubt, dont go out.

Kids will love the amazing Elephant Walk playground with its myriad of swings, bars, decks, slides and much more!

Also, you can call into Surworld Museum and receive a guided tour of some of the Local Surfing History. www.surfworld.com.au
