Who are we?

The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee is appointed by the Victorian Government under the Crown Land Reserves Act to manage foreshore reserves along the Great Ocean Road.

Why does the coast need managing?

Coastal photoThe dramatic and lovely Great Ocean Road coast is now the most visited part of Victoria. This puts pressure on the coastal environment. GORCC manages a large range of facilities and activities along the coast. More

What coast do we look after?

We manage 37 km of coastal reserves between Torquay and Lorne, along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. We also manage the Torquay and Lorne Foreshore Caravan Parks.
