Schoolies

Bookings are now open for Park Unit accommodation during Schoolies in Torquay 2012 from 24 November to 8 December 2012.

 

The following conditions apply to all Schoolies Bookings:

  • Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park will be glass free
  • Check-in time is between 2pm and 6pm
  • Visitors will not be allowed in the park between 6pm and 8am
  • Offensive or unseemly behaviour will not be tolerated
  • Unit accommodation only is available
  • Cost: $1,500 per week plus security deposit: $1000
  • Maximum number of people four per unit

Cowrie Market

The Cowrie Community Market is held on the 3rd Sunday of the Month during September and April at Elephant Walk, The Esplanade, Torquay. where you'll find handmade and home produced products, environmentally friendly products, promoting local artists and crafts, bands, busking, and food. Great Ocean Road Coast Committee

The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee (GORCC) manages 37 kilometres of coastal Crown Land reserves along Victoria's iconic Great Ocean Road, from Point Impossible east of Torquay to Cumberland River southwest of Lorne. GORCC’s role includes operating the Torquay and Lorne Foreshore Caravan Parks and managing the leases for two others (privately operated).

 

 All proceeds from our caravan park operations are invested in a range of coastal management activities and caravan park improvements.

Campers Education Activities

We want everyone to love, protect and enjoy our beautiful coast as much as we do.

 

So we offer campers the opportunity to engage in hands on learning opportunities that will equip them with the knowledge and skills to protect and enhance their beautiful coastal surroundings.

 

These education session are run every Summer and Easter period for more information or to register visit the TFCP office.
